A comprehensive brief including rebranding and design of responsive website. The restaurant is a premier dining establishment and the highly experienced head chef is also a knowledgeable sommelier. The restaurant tends to attract business customers during the day, and affluent families during the evenings.
The client wanted a new logo for their restaurant and I was asked to keep the new logo in the same style as the previous logo. As the head chef is an expert in wine, I wanted to incorporate the experience within the logo. The typeface and the colours reflect the warm and friendly atmosphere whilst being contemporary and minimalistic.
The design of the five-page responsive website, included Wire framing, UI design, direction of photography (remotely), art direction, design of mocks, and liaison with developers. The idea behind the design was to find the right balance between cosy and family friendly versus smart and contemporary, whilst incorporating professionalism, expertise and experience.
